What do you expect when you think of typical North Holland landscapes and villages? Cows, windmills, dikes, churches, and polders. That's exactly the environment you'll find near your B&B. Oudesluis was once a mooring place for VOC ships and the home port for the fishing fleet before the land reclamation. Now, you'll find peaceful village streets for a stroll right outside your B&B. In the nearby Anna Paulowna, you can do your shopping.

Schagen has a friendly city center with a covered shopping center, a pleasant shopping street, and several restaurants and terraces. Activities are organized here throughout the year, such as beach volleyball tournaments, markets, food tastings, and open-air concerts.

From June to early September, Schagen hosts the West Frisian Market on ten Thursdays, featuring a procession in traditional costumes and various folkloric activities and performances.

In Schagen, you can also go bowling and catch a movie.

You can reach this natural area in about 20 minutes by car. The charming artist's town of Bergen is also nearby.
